Several people have suggested that we hold some meetings during the week as some members cannot make the weekend meetings, while others cannot make the weeknight meetings. So our next meeting will be Monday, July 10, 7:30 PM at Alum Rock United Methodist Church, 30 Kirk Ave near Alum Rock Ave. There are plenty of parking spaces in the back.
Our plan for this meeting, our first meeting on a weeknight, is to get better acquainted, to discuss next steps, to hear from members on actions they have taken or will be taken, and to encourage each other in our endeavors. We can also write postcards and make phone calls to our members of Congress. Bring a friend or two and some snacks to share, along with your great ideas.
